An Easy Way to Send Listings

How do you send listings to your clients, especially when you don’t want to set up automated emails or even a saved search? While there are several ways to do it, Reliance Network staff member Zach Whiting came up with a really simple way that allows the agent to add a personal message, while the contact receives a branded email with the listings in a thumbnail format. Each thumbnail contains a link to the full listing website. You probably know the tool—Buyer’s Tour—but, like me, never thought about using it this way.

I have used Buyer’s Tour for many years, but always in one of two ways:

  1. As an email to my buyers, so they can drive by listings and decide which they would like me to take them to for a full showing.
  2. As a printed piece for them to take notes while doing actual showings.

It can also be used simply to encourage the prospect/client to view the full listing website. Here’s how:

  1. While in Agent Access, hover over Listings*, then click Buyer’s Tour.
  2. Enter the MLS # (or numbers) of the listings you would like them to view online.
  3. Click Create Tour.
  4. You are now at the email setup window:
    1. Enter the email address of the prospect either manually or click To and select the address from your contact list.
    2. Change the default subject to something like Check Out This Listing.
    3. If desired, add a personal message.
    4. You can even add notes for each listing using the Listing Notes section for each property.
    5. Click Preview and send email.
    6. Click Send Email.

Your prospect/client receives a branded email from you, with a single photo and summary of each listing you included, and a link to view full details.

*Buyer’s Tour will be relocated to a new Navigation Button titled ‘Marketing’ in the very near future.
