Website Widgets

Are you taking advantage of the widget tools available in Agent Access? Widgets are calls to action, installed with a single click, that enable viewers to interact with functions in your website. You can use widgets in any of your website’s pages to further customize how your website captures business.

You can install widgets anywhere you have the ability to paste HTML code. Our widgets are all-inclusive, and come with everything needed to automatically have them work. Many of them even allow the use of marketing source codes that track when someone clicks that widget from a third-party website. To find the widgets, log into Agent Access, hover over Site Builder, slide to Widgets and click one of the three sub-tabs: Lead Form, Search or Framed.

Look at the widget examples for each function to view what the visitor will see. Often you can customize the Click here link to call that visitor to action.

  1. Lead Form asks viewers to interact with you:
    1. Client Login Widget assumes the viewer already has a Property Watch account with you
      1. Note the way it will appear online
      2. Copy and paste the code into your online marketing function
    2. Client Registration Widget invites the viewer to login or create a Property Watch account with you
      1. Functions as a lead generator
      2. Allows the visitor to saves searches, favorite properties, etc.
    3. Pop-Up Form Links invite the viewer to send you an email tailored to a specific subject
      1. There are a group of these. Unselect all but the one you want to use
      2. Copy and paste the widget code into your third party online marketing function
    4. Search invites the viewer to initiate a property search within your website
      1. Quick Search Redirect Widget is much like the website home screen Quick Search
        1. On the left, select the search functions you want to have display on the screen
        2. Mark if you want the Quick Search link to open in a new screen (recommended if using this widget at a 3rd party website)
      2. Featured Properties Widget invites the viewer to see your Featured Properties
        1. Use the left side options to design how the widget will resolve when clicked by the visitor
        2. It will pull the information from the settings you have at your Featured Properties tab in Site Builder—>Content—>Featured
      3. Framed Search is a powerful tool that allows you to have a website visitor at a 3rd party website use the full spectrum of the search you have within your website
        1. Click the Search Preview link to see how the framed search will appear when inserted (looks like the main search page of your website…because it is)
        2. You can insert just the link code or the frame code

The code needed to post these widgets is available in the appropriate window of each widget. Where you have the opportunity to select changes, notice how the code automatically changes as you check and uncheck boxes.  All you have to do is copy and paste the code where you would like the widget to reside.

Think of ways you can be creative with this new tool. Just playing around, I created a new page inside my website with nothing on it except the Featured Property widget. I then hid that page from displaying on my website but created a hot link to that page in my email signature. If that link is clicked, the email recipient goes to one of my Featured Properties views, and once there, they can go anywhere they want on my website! Another leading edge function in our business tool arsenal!
