The Virtual Showings Report for Listing Agents
Are you tracking Virtual Showings for your listings in Agent Access? It is an extremely valuable way to see the activity your listing is receiving at any of the agent, office, or corporate websites. Here is a sample screenshot of how it can appear for you (I have erased the identifying info):
Back in October, there were 3 occasions a client was logged in at one of the BHHSNWRE agent, office, or corporate websites looking at the details for this listing. Even though the listing agent cannot identify who this visitor is, the person did leave some interesting information behind. First, the visitor left their client ID. Please note it was the same person all three times! Second, the listing agent viewing this report can also see this client’s buyer’s agent and affiliated branch. All the listing agent has to do is click the Agent Follow-up Email link to have an email sent to the buyer’s agent. The buyer’s agent will see the client ID and client name. That creates a better opportunity to bring that listing and buyer together!
The Virtual Showings report can be viewed in this way:
- While in Agent Access, hover over Listings, then click Manage
- Click View next to the MLS # of the listing
- At the next window, click the down arrow next to the listing number and MLS Board
- Click Virtual Showing
The default report looks back approximately one month, but you can adjust to see further back. However, as a listing agent providing service to your seller, I recommend checking these reports at least several times a week. The information is there to help us get a showing, offer, and closed sale. We just have to use it.
