Enhanced Agent Saved Searches
Do you use the Agent Saved Searches tool inside your website? It allows you to set up searches with pre-selected search criteria so your web visitor only needs to click a button to view search results for a specific category or area. It could be used to see all homes for sale in a town, or for a more specific search, all homes in a school district, waterfront condominiums, etc.
While this tool has been available for a while, last week it got a major upgrade. It now works the same way the newer Search3 functions for your website visitor with more criteria and ease. Here is how to access and use it:
- While in Agent Access, hover over Site Builder, slide to Search, then click
- The default search results appear with the map on the left and thumbnail search results displayed on the right. Set your specific search criteria using the Location, Property Type, Price, Size, and More tool windows.
- Click Go or Submit Search (Submit Search is used if you entered the Advanced Search mode in the More window).
- Verify the search results are what you want and click Save Search.
- Name the search, then click
- You can now either stay on the search page to conduct additional searches or click Go to Saved Search Manager (for now, click the Go To button).
- Your saved search is at the My Agent Saved Searches window, listed in alphabetical order.
- Click Manage at the right edge of your saved search summary line.
- You have several options:
- Copy the link to a client (creates a saved search in the client’s dashboard)
- Preview the search results
- Rename the search
- Edit the search criteria
- Delete the search
- Copy the URL to add to your website or use as a hot link at any 3rd Party online marketing venue
You can always return to your Agent Saved Search in the future; just hover over Site Builder —> Search —> Manage and scroll to the search name.
