Interior Web Pages
Does your website appear as if it came ‘right out of the box,’ or have you truly customized it to reflect your business goals? One area often overlooked is what can be done at the Content—>Pages sub-tab of Site Builder. This tab is concerned primarily with the content in the interior pages of your site. Here are some tools you can use to personalize your interior site pages with great content:
- Add Custom Forms, Pages, and Links: At the bottom of each Default Main Navigation Button sections (there are four of these) are three tabs: Add Form, Add Page, Add Link.
- Add Form – In addition to the Form widgets available in the Apps and Widgets sub-tab, we can create our own custom forms which can be used at our website or third-party online marketing venues:
- Click Add Form
- Enter the title you want displayed on the form
- Enter the text you want the website visitor to see when accessing the form
- Select the various fields for the visitor to use, and indicate whether they are to be required or optional
- Modify the text for the Submit button if desired
- Click Save Form
- Note: you can also indicate what is to happen after the visitor submits the form (receive a confirmation message, go to a specific website page, or even go to a separate URL)
- Add Page – You can add as many interior content pages to your website as you need:
- Click Add Page
- Enter the title you desire for the new page
- Click Add Page – An additional fully customizable page is now available for you to develop
- Add Link – We have always been able to add as many links as we desire, and if you have market niches within your website you should provide links to the resources and services those market niches desire:
- Click Add Link
- Enter the title you desire for the new page
- Assign a sort value to determine where the link will reside within that navigation tab
- Paste the link to the information you want site visitors to access in the URL window
- If the URL is not something within your website, ensure the ‘New Window’ radio button is clicked so when the visitor leaves that linked site, he/she will be back at your website
- Click Submit
- Customize the Text on Your Navigation Tabs – You can change the title of each of your Navigation Tabs:
- Hover over Site Builder
- Slide to Content, then click Pages
- At the top of each of the Main Navigation Tabs (Property, Services, Community, Profile) click Edit Button Properties
- Change the title to what will best describe what you have available for your site visitors at the pages within that Navigation Button
- Click Submit
- Add New Navigation Tabs
You are not limited to the four default Navigation Buttons:
-
- Scroll to the bottom of the Site Builder —> Content —> Pages window
- Click Add New Main Navigation Button
- Enter the Navigation Button text title
- Set the sort value (where do you want that navigation button to appear in the list of Navigation Tabs)
- Select what the button will link to:
- Existing interior page
- Custom form (you have developed)
- Form (one of many stock forms in our program)
- Custom URL
- Click Add Navigation Button
These tools are really easy to set up and can have a major impact in how your website engages its visitors!
