Using Facebook to Log Into the Agent Website

Have you ever visited a website that invited you to access it using your Facebook login? It’s a growing option and is now included for your existing clients to access their Property Watch account at your website. When the Login/Registration screen is displayed, it now looks like this:

Notice the ‘Sign in with Facebook’ link in the Returning User section. The concept is simple: Most people easily remember their username to log into Facebook, but if they infrequently come to your website, they may forget their login for your site.

When the visitor uses the Facebook login, they can still get in and save searches, favorite properties, etc., and their actions are tracked in their Property Watch account. This allows you to see what they have done at the website, so you can best serve their real estate interests. The benefit to you: A higher number of clients actually log in rather than just using the website as an unregistered (and therefore untracked) visitor.

If they use the Facebook login, you do not see any of their Facebook activity. That part of their privacy is protected. One caveat: If the Facebook login email address is different than the one they used to establish the original website account, the program will create a second client account for them, which you will probably want to merge using the ‘Manage Duplicates’ tool located at the Clients > Contact List Page.

Try the new tool out at your website by using the Facebook option to log in!
